Telenor is Giving 4g SIMS to Limited Customers for Trail Basis. Telenor first started giving 4G SIMS to its employees and now the operator has decided to provide 4G SIMS to limited customers of Telenor as well. 

Telenor, the second largest cellular operator having around 37 million subscribers, has recently became 4G operator in the country after winning 850 MHz in the last month spectrum auction.

Telenor’s entery into 4G technology will further increase the mobile penetration rate in the country. Before this, Zong and Warid (now merged with Mobilink) were the 4G operators in Pakistan.

Interesting fact–there are around 40 countries where 850 MHz spectrum deployments have been made for 3G and 4G. Most deployments are in the Americas.
