More than 145,000 apps on Windows Phone store

The Windows Phone Store features more than 145,000 apps for customers to choose from, with hundreds added every day. Getting things done while on-the-go is easy with Internet Explorer 10 for faster, safer browsing and Microsoft Office Mobile integration.

That’s significantly less than the amount of apps found in both the Google Play and iOS app stores. As of last fall, the latter two app marketplaces both numbered at over 700,000 apps.

Above graph shows the popular apps available on different OS. We can clearly see tha Windows Phone had 63% of the Android apps & 58% of the iOS apps. Although Windows store continues to have an “app gap”, it certainly is much more competitive than Blackberry.
