5 More Huawei Smartphones to Receive Android 9.0 Pie

Few days ago, we have informed you that the Eurasian Economic Comission (EEC) has certified the Huawei Mate 20 Pro & Huawei Mate 20 with Android 9.0 Pie. The certification agency reveals that the Huawei’s Mate 20 will be one of the first set of smartphones to come with Android 9.0 Pie. Now we came to know that 5 More Huawei Smartphones to Receive Android 9.0 Pie as they are going through internal testing for the Android 9.0 Pie.

The company has published a list of 5 new additions. These new phones are all flagships and include- Mate 10, Mate 10 Porsche Design, Mate RS Porsche Design, P20 Pro and Honor Play.

5 More Huawei Smartphones will get Android 9.0 Pie

This adds up to a total of nine devices that are going through the internal testing program.

Huawei said that the software is not stable and may have some issues with some third-party apps, battery drains, etc. The company also reminds that the user’s phone should not be rooted and should run the latest baseline version of the software.

6GB of free internal storage is required for this latest update. The regular Huawei P20 will get stable Android 9.0 Pie in September before the Pro version. The upcoming Huawei Y9 (2019) also received its certification from Eurasian Economic Commision.
