Bolo Tech- A Software that Aims at Assisting People with Speech Disorders is developed by two Pakistani entrepreneurs- Rabab and Shanza. The clinical software is named as “Bolo Tech” and it offers multiple speech solutions in Urdu to the people who are suffering from speech disorders.

This is first of kinds software that is developed in a local language that is targeted for elders.

Shanza in one of her interview said that:

“One of the main reasons behind developing the software was the dearth of facilities provided in Pakistan to patients suffering from speech and communication disorders. In Pakistan, there are not many speech therapists available to patients, and where they are available, they charge between Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,000 per visit, adding that according to recent survey results about 13% of the country’s population suffers from speech and communication disorders.”

Bolo Tech offers significant speech therapy which is supported by visuals, audios and useful games too.

The software is presently in the testing phase. People can look for speech therapist online by using this software. Presently, only elders can take benefit from it whereas it will be used by special children in later stages.
