With the launch of 3G/4G services of Pakistan the e-Commerce sector of the country has witnessed a huge boom. The new trend of online shopping has increased and somehow people have started relying on online stores as well. The representatives of “Alibaba Group” and TCS Holdings which is Pakistan’s leading courier, logistics and e-commerce services provider met to discuss the potential for B2B and e-commerce market development in Pakistan. Alibaba few months back showed the company’s intentions to join Pakistani market and explore more business opportunities which will benefit the country at large.

The AliBaba team visited the TCS and Yayvo offices as well as the operational hub of the courier and logistics business. The delegation was briefed on TCS’s domestic strengths as well as its alliance with the global logistics leader United Parcel Service (UPS) for international express services. The Yayvo success story and the its rise to become one of Pakistan’s top shopping portals was also shared.
