Amazon Launches Kindle Lite App for Slower Internet Connections
Amazon announced the launch of Kindle Lite App. It is lighter version of its Kindle app, firstly launched in India. This Kindle Lite App is specifically designed for readers using smartphones with limited storage and which are working on 2G/3G networks which are slower when compared to 4G and LTE services.
Amazon had launched the Kindle Lite App as an open beta on Google Play Store to improve the customer experience with faster downloads, instant reading, and a lighter app.
Kindle Lite App is less than 2MB and downloads is under a minute on your phone
Kindle Lite App is launched in India first, due to limited connectivity available there. Kindle Lite App covers very less memory however provides a perfect reading experience even when provided with low internet connection.

This Kindle Lite App is a blessing in disguise as previously you had to wait eBooks to download completing in order to read. It also lets you manage storage for downloaded eBooks as well as monitor your data usage over Wi-Fi or mobile networks.
Kindle Lite App is available for Android Smartphones yet but is limited to Indian market only. This is not the first app who has launched it lighter version to meet customer’s demands. Facebook messenger and Twitter etc also launched Liter versions of their Apps.
