Google keeps on updating its Android Messaging feature. Just recently, Google launched a major update to Android messages which came with the overall new material design, cleaner interface and dark mode. Google also revealed that Android Messages Search Features will Enhance with These Categories.

Android Messages Search Features Gets a major redesign

Yesterday Google revealed that it will also roll out new search features for SMS client.

“We share a lot of information in our messages, but it’s not always easy to look back and find that photo your mom sent a month ago or the address of the coffee shop your friend recommended”

This update will help you find a specific message and a specific type of content easily. Now when you will begin writing search query, you will get some categories so that you can shift to images, videos or places.

The GIF below shows the kind of media that will be visible after the update is rolled out, however, there will be more categories to search.
