Telenor Pakistan has organized its “Digital Festival” in Islamabad yesterday that was also attended by theMinister for Information Technology & Telecom Anusha Rehman and Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Dr. Ismail Shah.

On this occasion, Minister Anusha Rehman said that:

“The contributions Pakistan’s telecom industry continues to make towards the realization of our convergent digital and financial inclusion goals deserve support and applause.”

She also added that:

“The role Telenor Pakistan in particular has played for the development and promotion of digital ecosystem in Pakistan is especially commendable. For a developing country like Pakistan, ICT-powered digital initiatives can play a vital role in the country’s growth and I’m glad Telenor Pakistan is leading in that area.”
