Apple announces the iPad Air

Yesterday on 22nd on October Apple officially announced it’s all new iPad air, it’s lightest and thinnest iPad yet in the market.  The newly named iPad Air features a slender design and thinner structure as compared to previous modeled iPad’s. It has a 9.7 Retina display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and 20% more thinner then the iPad 4. The weight of the new iPad Air is just one pound.

The iPad Air is compact with 64-bit A7 processor just like the new iPhone 5S which brings more improvement and performance. It also features 5-megapixel iSight camera and HD front facing camera for FaceTime. The battery of the newly released iPad air can support upto 10 hours. Apple says that the Wifi capability of the iPad Air has improved more with twice the data rate transfer thanks to the new MIMO 802.11n support.

The iPad Air is priced starting from $499 which will be available from 1st of November, LTE version will be available from $629. It will be shipping with two colors i.e. white and space gray. All the new iPad’s will be running on the new iOS 7.
