Although the last year, Apple faced a decline in revenue. But the latest announcement showed that the last three months of 2018 were not as bad. According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, Apple music and iTunes are doing very well. Now Apple has achieved a milestone as Apple Music Hits 50 Million Paid Subscribers. Now Apple has announced good news for its Apple Music Subscribers. They can now gift a free month of services to their friends.
Apple Music Subscribers can Now Gift A free month of Service to Friends
Previously, Apple Music has offered 3-month free trials to previous subscribers. Now, Apple is giving away more free months to those who might or might not have tried its music streaming service. Currently, Apple is now sending notifications to Music subscribers letting them know they can send a referral to their friends who aren’t subscribers. If that person has already used a 3-month free trial, they will receive an extra 1-month of Apple Music.
However, your friends who have never used any free trials will be given no less than 4 months of free Apple Music service. After your free trial runs out, you’ll have to pay $9.99 per month if you want to continue to remain an Apple Music subscriber.
No doubt, it is a good tactic to increase the Apple Music subscribers. It seems like Apple is quite serious to beat the Spotify. Spotify currently has 100 million subscribers. Let’s see how much time Apple will take to reach this goal.
