Apple Music Hits 50 Million Paid Subscribers

Although the last year, Apple faced a decline in revenue. But the latest announcement showed that the last three months of 2018 were not as bad. According to the Apple CEO Tim Cook, the Apple music and iTunes are doing very well. Now Apple has achieved a milestone as Apple Music Hits 50 Million Paid Subscribers.

Apple Music was launched in 2015. It was the world’s first “premium”, on-demand music streaming product. But its growth rate these past three and a half years has exceeded the imagination. Apple Music boasted 40 million paid subscribers less than 12 months back.

However, still Spotify is the leading the race and has 87 million paid subscribers. No doubt, Apple still needs some time to overtake Spotify. But seeing the growth rate of subscribers, Apple will surely reach that value in the coming years.

Apple is continuously bringing new updates to its Music app. Recently, the company has also added the Tablet support for its Music app.  So if you are an Android tablet user and you want to listen to your favorite songs via Music app, then check and make it sure that you have updated to version 2.7.0. This new update also includes unspecified app and performance improvements. Moreover, the previous Update also include;

  • Performance improvements for images
  • Performance improvements for  Audio Playback
  • Usual removal of bugs,
  • Support for Android tablets
