The eSIM chips will be activated with a future iOS 12 update but it is not clear that when this will occur. Users of the 2018 iPhone models will enjoy to use Dual SIM once it is activated. Standby allows users to choose one active SIM card with the modem in order to make and receive calls.
Users can set up two numbers on a single phone, one for business purpose and one for personal use with Dual SIM Dual Standby.
