Apple to Launch 6.5″ iPhone X Plus & Low Priced 6.1″ iPhone SE2 in 2018

Apple will release its biggest iPhone with large 6.1 inch display. It is said to be the most cheapest iPhone of Apple ever. This news was leaked by Nikkei, the world’s largest financial newspaper. Apple to Launch 6.5″ iPhone X Plus & Low Priced 6.1″ iPhone SE2 in 2018.

Nikkei revealed that the low cost of iPhone would be due to usage of LCD display instead of OLED which is most expensive. Apple’s new iPhone will also revert to aluminium chassis that means that no wireless charging will be offered. It will not only be less priced but also will save cost if glass breaks up.

Nikkie also told that new iPhone will be assembled by a new manufacturer. Casetek, subsidiary of iPhone assembler Pagatron will win for sure as it is already testing casings for new LCD iPhone model.

This will also reduce dependence of Apple on Samsung that is the only company to supply OLED displays in bulk to meet iPhone X demand.  Niikei repeatedly told about less price of new iPhone however did not disclosed its price in figures.

Due to its large display, It is rumored that new iPhone will be named “iPhone SE2“. Nikkei also revealed that the final teaser of Apple claimed to launch iPhone X plus in 2018. The final size is yet to be agreed but its will be either 6.2 or 6.3 inches.
