Technology blog 9to5Mac reported, that Apple Inc is all set to introduce its next generation iPhone and iPad models on March 15, and hopes to start selling the devices within the same week.

The blog reported that Apple, which will present a new 4-inch iPhone, named the “iPhone 5se”, and a new iPad Air at a launch event, is improbable to take pre-orders for the new gadgets.

Apple Inc. designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. Its hardware products include the iPhone smartphone, the iPad tablet computer, the Mac personal computer, the iPod portable media player, and the Apple Watch smartwatch. Apple’s consumer software includes the OS X and iOS operating systems, the iTunes media player, the Safari web browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and productivity suites.

The technology giant has hit a furrow in iPhone demand. The 0.4 percent increase in shipments in the fiscal first quarter was the lowest-ever rise in iPhone sales since the phone was introduced in 2007.

The new 4-inch iPhone 5se is intended to spur iPhone hardware upgrades for consumer pursuing faster devices without upgrading to the far greater iPhone 6s and 6s Plus screen sizes.

However, Apple could not be instantly reached for comment.
