But unfortunately, Infinix phones are not as much secured as they should be. So Are Infinix Phones Stealing Personal Data? Yes you can say that. Many recent reports and analysis claim that these phones are secretly sending your personal information to some server back in China.
Are Infinix Phones Stealing Personal Data?
Some researchers discovered that Infinix smartphones have permanent and pre-installed firmware. This firmware collects sensitive information including messages, call logs, geolocations. Than this personal information is sending back to a third-party server in Shanghai, China.
According to the Securityfuse analysis, Infinix Mobiles have some pre-installed app’s also known as bloatware. You can uninstall some of these apps but not all. Analysis claims that two suspected apps are stealing your personal data. One is Babel Font and other is Fonts Manager. Babel Font is a font app available on Google Play Store. This app changes the fonts on smartphone. You can uninstall this app from your smartphone.
Instead of Infinix Mobiles, if some one is using this app than quickly uninstall it. A Chinese firm “Shanghai iekie information technology Co,Ltd” has developed this app and most probably this app is stealing your personal information.
However, the other app “Fonts Manager” is a system application in Infinix mobiles. You can not uninstall this app from your smartphone. This app secretly sending your personal data to some vulnerable server. Further, If the security of this server is compromised, hackers can gain access to your smartphone.
However, the companies should keep the privacy and security of customers their main concern. At any level customers’ privacy should not be compromised. Now the Government should take appropriate the actions to dealt with this situation.
