Breaking News-Arif Shafique CEO Lenovo Resigned. Since July 2014, he has  joined Lenovo – Smart Devices as Country Manager – Pakistan. This news has not been officially announced yet. It is also not clear what he will join after this.

Arif Shafique has also appointed as Country Manager for Nokia Pakistan and Afghanistan region since 2007. Mr. Shafique, on the other hand, has been playing a key role in the organization mainly for increasing the sales of handsets with different available channels after he was promoted as Head of Sales in 2010.

Arif started his career in 1991 from Paktel Limited in the field of Direct Sales which proved to be a stepping stone in his career. Paktel gave Arif an adequate level of exposure to Pakistan’s Telecom Industry and helped him learn what drives it. He later worked at senior positions with a number of leading organizations such as Mobil Askari Lubricants and APL – a global transportation and logistics company in shipping and eventually joined Nokia Pakistan in 2007.
