[dropcap2]W[/dropcap2]elcome to the 10th edition of PhoneWorld Magazine; we hope you all had a fantastic Eid & Independence Day with high-speed 3G internet. We feel honor in having the opportunity to share our passion, personal experience and all the information related to technology and mobile world.

In this edition of magazine, M. Bilal Abbasi made a special effort to draw a comparison of these 3G packages in his exclusive article, “Pakistan 3G Mobile Data Tariff Benchmarking Strategies & Comparison”.

Other than introducing 3G/4G technology in Pakistan, there are many other steps that have been taken for the development of ICT sector of Pakistan by MOITT. Rizwana Khan has discussed all these in a special feature article, “MoITT One Year Performance Report”.

Our Managing Editor, Adnan Khan conducted a special interview with James Munn, Vice President of Business Development in Sub Sahara Africa, Qualcomm; in which he discussed the post 3G scenario and future prospects for the ICT sector of Pakistan.

“Facebook Liking isn’t Helping IDPs”, is an article written by Kanwal Ayub, where she discussed the impact of social media activism. Whereas Saima Ibrahim highlighted the effect of Facebook on our moods in her article, “Your Friend’s Emotions on Facebook Can Affect Your Mood”.
I would also like to thank Yumna Ashfaq for putting stress on the importance of Antivirus App for smartphones, in her article “AVG a Must Have App for Android”.

Last, but not the least, we would like to appreciate Bushra Khan (Graphic Designer) for her untiring efforts by putting life in this magazine through her designing.

Magazine is filled with many more interesting topics including our regular sections i.e. Phone reviews, Telecom Campaigns, Wish list, and App reviews, etc.
