Similarly, Intel has also decided to jump into automotive events as the company CEO Mr. Brian Krzanich at “Los Angeles Automobility Show” announced that an amount of $250 million will be invested by the Intel capital on for this purpose.

This investment will benefit connectivity, security, and context awareness. The actual goal of autonomous cars is basically to improve the safety by simply removing the human errors; which is connected with the vehicles & their data.

Krzanich pointed out that:

“The cars are already equipped with a variety of sensors, cameras and controllers that create, gather and transmit data. He said the automotive industry needs to be prepared for 4 terabytes of data being generated by every car every day.”
