Budget Friendly Vivo Y93 Goes Official With Massive Battery

Vivo keeps on expanding its family by introducing new mid-range smartphones. Two days back, Vivo X23 Star edition was announced. Now, Vivo has introduced the all-new Vivo Y93 which is a budget-friendly phone packed with good specs.

The Vivo Y93 features a 6.2” LCD with HD+ resolution. It has a screen to body ratio of 19:9. The phone features a waterdrop notch. Furthermore, the handset sports 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. However, there is no information about the microSD availability on the official website. Moreover, it is the first smartphone of the company launched with a Snapdragon 439 chipset paired with an Adreno 505 GPU.

Snapdragon 439 chipset is built on the 12 nm FinFET process. It comes with eight Cortex-A53 cores which are clocked at 1.95 GHz. This chipset limits the LTE speeds to 150/75 Mbps. It has a massive battery of 4,030 mAh capacity. Furthermore, it comes with a micro USB port. It runs the FunTouch OS which is actually based on Android Oreo 8.1.

The phone does not have a fingerprint reader. However, the selfie camera supports Face unlock for security. The Y93 dual camera setup includes a 13 MP f/2.2 + 2 MP f/2.4 on the back. However, it can support cameras up to 21MP. The selfie snapper is 8 MP f/2.0. Like all the newly launched Vivo devices, the phone also comes with the voice assistant Jovi. The Vivo Y93 Color Options include Starry Black and Sunset Red. Furthermore, the Vivo Y93 price is CNY1,500 ( PKR 28,890). It’s quite reasonable and is among one of the budget-friendly phones of the company. It is available for purchases.
