Careem, Pakistan’s one of the trusted ride-hailing service , is providing its ride services in many cities of Pakistan. Recently, Careem has Introduced Women Drivers in Pakistan. Now Careem Celebrates the expansion of its Female Captain Launch Program. Under this program, women are driving their cabs in Pakistan.

The company claims 70% of its customers are women, and by December 2017, it wishes to induct at least 1,000 female captains across the country. On its Official Facebook page, Careem celebrates the expansion of this program. Here some clicks posted by Careem Pakistan.
Back in December, 2016, Careem has started this initiative. With a customer base of over 50%, #MainHoonAzaad is a significant step towards women empowerment. Besides supporting freedom of mobility, Careem intends to enable women by offering them safe and accommodating job opportunities that confirms more financial independence.
Managing Director Careem Pakistan Junaid Iqbal said
“Initially, we thought we should have an exclusive women service but that would not have been logistically possible. Instead, why not women driving men around,”
A few months back, The ride-hailing service Careem, has announced a unique initiative in this regard. The company aims to empower 100,000 women across Pakistan by launching a program in collaboration with its industry partners. This program aims to work on a unique initiative that will facilitate women to jump start their own business with Careem.
