Chairman PITB signs MOU to Establish Lahore and Austin as Science Cities
Punjab Information and Technology Board has achieved a huge milestone for Pakistan startup ecosystem. Chairman PITB, Dr. Umar Saif has met Mayor of Austin, Steve Adler, to sign an MOU for the betterment of both countries. Chairman PITB signs MOU to Establish Lahore and Austin as Science Cities. Dr. Umar Saif along with his team briefed the Mayor about PITB’s groundbreaking projects. These projects include e-Rozgaar, free WiFi hotspots, eLearn.Punjab and smart transport solutions.

Under this agreement, Lahore and Austin, will come together for establishment and promotion of joint resources. Both these cities will strengthen entrepreneurs, and small and mid-sized companies to export or import to/from the partner community.
