These Man Pods provide shelter to bored husbands who are dragged out of homes to shop with wives. These Man Pods in a row are definitely providing refuge to hundreds of men whose better halves shop and they get drop in the pods.

The first kind of such pods were launched at the Global Harbor shopping mall in Shanghai in June. These man pods have facilitated thousands of men. These pods are designed and constructed by Ruwo Smart Technology.

Men can enjoy in Man Pod on a comfortable chair with a large screen installed at the front to play favorite video games. Man pod is made up of clear glass walls so that men do not get disturbed by the irritating sound of hustle and bustle going outside.

The company plans to install man both to other shopping malls as their demand is increasing. Ruwo smart Technology also revealed that they have received a very positive response on installing Man Pods.

Zhao Wei, an operator Man Pods said:

“We found in most malls men and women go shopping together but men cannot accept spending a long time shopping. Sometimes they’ll even start having arguments. So we think in this situation, we can have a product that gives a man something to do and the girls can go shopping at ease.”

Men who enjoyed playing games in this both shared positive and happy reviews however wives were disturbed. According to wives they had to wait for long for husbands for completion of their games. However some women were happy that now they can shop guilt free.

Lets hope that such man pods are installed in Pakistani shopping malls too.
