CIRCLE brings She Loves Tech 2018 Back to Pakistan

Circle Brings She Loves Tech 2018 which is the world’s largest women and tech startup competition. This event will be held in 14 countries i.e; Pakistan, Africa, Canada, China, France, German, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and the UAE.

She Loves Tech 2018- Event to Empower women in Tech Society

Such Events like She Loves Tech 2018 should take place on and off in Pakistan as no doubt Pakistani women are full of talent but don’t find a proper platform to showcase it. CIRCLE plans to empower women by providing them with the proper platform where they can show their talent in the tech field in front of incubators and stakeholders which will invest.

CIRCLE will hold different rounds in major cities of Pakistan i.e; Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad between June to August.

The competition is anticipated to charm to more than 500 start-ups which can be women-led the whole world. The local round winners from each country will get a visit to Beijing where they’ll pitch their particular idea on the stage that is worldwide. They will certainly further take part in a boot this is certainly high-level including workshops and business visits.
Winners of this round will also have the opportunity to network with top investors, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the ecosystem.

CIRCLE Pakistan was founded Sadaffe Abid and is the only organization that works for women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship, advocacy campaigns and research.

There are many women startups in Pakistan that will take part in this event such as Mera Paisa, DoctHERS, and Sehat Kahani, the other startups participating last year included SheKab, Qayyam, ELN, Kafayak, IoTA, Aurat Raj and Edvon.

Those male startups who have envisaged some technology to solve problems that women face can also participate in this competition.

One can participate in She Loves Tech 2018 if their business is in early stages. According to the press release, one of the following criteria’s must be fulfilled:

  1. Has a product designed specifically for women
  2. Has a product that disproportionately affects women
  3. Has a significant proportion of female consumers
  4. Has at least one female entrepreneur on the founding team
