Daira Partners with Infinix, Tecno, and itel to Offer Smartphones on Easy Installments in Pakistan

Finleap Financial Services (Private) Limited, operating as Daira, Pakistan’s leading digital finance provider under the FinVolution Group, has partnered with Transsion’s brands—Infinix Pakistan, Tecno Mobile Pakistan, and itel Pakistan—to offer flexible buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) plans for smartphone buyers.
The collaboration aims to make it simpler and more affordable for Pakistanis to upgrade to quality devices through responsible installment plans, enabling wider access to essential technology and fostering greater digital participation.
According to Daira, nearly half of Pakistan’s mobile users are still using feature phones. This partnership supports the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication’s “Smartphone on Installments” initiative, which seeks to boost smartphone adoption and bridge the digital divide.
“Our BNPL model empowers more Pakistanis to access smartphones responsibly and participate in the digital economy,” said a Daira spokesperson. “Working with Infinix, Tecno, and itel allows us to make high-quality devices more accessible nationwide.”
Industry analysts note that such collaborations could significantly accelerate smartphone penetration in Pakistan, enabling citizens to benefit from online education, e-services, digital payments, and other technology-driven solutions.
The initiative is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s journey toward a digitally inclusive society, aligning private sector innovation with the government’s agenda for broader connectivity and financial inclusion.
