Detective Pikachu’s Characters are Coming to Google’s Augmented Reality Lineup

Last year, during the Google Pixel 3 event, the company rebranded its ARCore-powered AR Stickers. Initially, the only latest generation of Google’s phones was supporting these characters, but in December, Google made them available to the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL. Google has announced that along with Pixel devices, the new Playmoji are also available on select LG and Motorola phones.

On Pixel phones, users will be able to find the Playmoji characters under the Playground section of the camera app. If users want to use them for the first time, then they will have to download them from the Google Play Store, after that users will be able to use them and enjoy them. However, it is important to note that these versions are of the characters from the film, not from the cartoons, I mean those cute ones we used to watch in cartoons or games. So get ready to watch the Pikachu with fur, Charizard with scales, and Mr. Mime with a creepy little face.
