Did Imran Khan Use Social Media to Cause Instability? Shocking Allegations by Firdous

If a person is highly influential and famous, then he or she can influence the masses with the astounding reach of social media. Any such actor can advance his or her agenda, and sometimes they can even astray their audience. One similar accusation was recently made by the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) spokesperson and former PTI leader, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan. She claimed that PTI freely used social media platforms to malign the reputation of institutions and that fake propaganda was spread via the Annual Development Programme.

While talking with the reports, the estranged PTI leader stated that it had become a common move for the incarcerated PTI chairman to start and trend topics on social media. Furthermore, she claimed that a staggering sum of PKR 870 million was allotted to advance the agenda of a certain individual rather than for the genuine welfare of the public.

Dr. Firdous also showed concern that the allocated budget, ostensibly aimed at public development, was actually used to recruit 30 to 40 individuals and open 800 accounts with the intention of brewing conflict within the state and its people.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Atta Tarar also alleged that the PTI employed around 1100 people in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to promote the party agenda. He stated that those who recruited these individuals should pay a price.
