KPITB Announces the Biggest Tech Event of the Year “Digital Youth Summit 2017”

Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) announces the biggest Tech Event of the Year, the Digital Youth Summit 2017. This time the DYS’17 will be much bigger, better and significant for the concerned individuals as stated by the Chairman KPITB Dr. Shahbaz khan.

Back in May 2014 the first ever Digital Youth Summit (DYS) was organized in Pakistan. It is a tech event and startup expo. The foremost objective of this Summit is to bring together the next generation of digital reformers in Pakistan. With a key focus on technology entrepreneurship, on-line work and ‘tech for social’ novelty.

DYS is a combined initiative of the Government of KP, native partners and global agencies. It has already become an allusion event for the tech community not only of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also Pakistan and afar. Every year, the conference witnesses about 4,000 partakers, and #DYS is a trending topic on Twitter as well.

The Digital Youth Summit intends at developing and becoming a primary platform to edify the overall public, youth particularly, about tech entrepreneurship and digital occupation as possible replacements to customary jobs. Moreover, with Information and Communication Technologies more manageable than ever, the future of employment in almost any career will integrate technology.

The 2017 Digital Youth Summit will be held from 5^th May- 7^th May. It will be a three-day event with plenary sessions with leading professionals from Pakistan and all over the world. Other than this absconding sessions on the several aspects of tech entrepreneurship, on-line and social innovations will also be discussed.

Participants will have the chance to interact with foremost and developing innovators, entrepreneurs, freelancers, startup community leaders, investors and other shareholders.
