Dubai to host GSMA Mobile 360 Series

The GSMA Mobile 360 Series – Middle East which will be held on 20-21st October 2015, is where mobile leaders gather, collaborate and define the future. As the UAE and other countries in the MENA region begin to pursue ambitious smart city initiatives and mobile broadband connections continue to increase, the role that mobile technology plays in connecting communities will become even more important.  This event, now in its third year, gives senior executives in mobile and adjacent industries the platform to learn of industry developments, network with peers, and discuss key regional issues.

The GSMA Mobile 360 Series – Middle East 2013/14 turned out to be very successful with a large attendance from leading telecom operators, regulators etc. with over 80 percent senior level attendees and an attendance of 39 countries with 9 countries sending government delegations. Other represented industries included app developers, device manufacturers and venture capitalists.

In its third year the GSMA Mobile – Middle East has been successful in bringing together key decision makers in the mobile industry to discuss and explore the issues specific to the MENA region.

Continuing the theme of connecting societies, In 2015 it will focus on the building blocks for creating connected societies. Specifically, how networks and the underlying platforms will enable a range of connected services such as digital commerce, digital identity, digital security and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Mobile 360 Series – Middle East, co-located with GITEX, will feature two days of keynote addresses, panel sessions and case studies to prompt audience interaction and discussion.  The theme of “Building Connected Societies” will be explored through a thought-leadership programme supported by top tier executives and focus on opportunities for growth and partnership that are the hallmarks of a GSMA event.
