Step Towards Digitization: e-Court System Starts Today

For the very first time in Pakistan, courts will be connected to an application the video link connectivity. Yes, the Supreme court of Pakistan is starting the e-court system from today. This new system will be very beneficial for lawyers and will make the overall judicial system more effective than before. Through this electronic system, people approaching courts will be tackled in a more responsive way than before.

From today, the three-member bench which will be headed by  Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa will initiate the hearing of cases through e-court system. The new facility will save a lot of time and money for litigants.

Courts to be Digitized-Thanks to e-court System

This e-court is an adequate and dynamic platform that will hinder unnecessary delays and will promote legal fraternity. The best thing about it is that it will provide convenience to the lawyers to pursue their cases in the courts of other cities where a registry is made.

Pakistan is adopting modern technologies finally, and moving at a fast pace in doing so. All the government organizations are also promoting e-services for the welfare of citizens but this e-court has will make lives easy if implemented in the best possible way. This is a big achievement for Pakistan as a nation and it shows how PTI is investing time in making Pakistan developed as many other developed countries have incorporated this system form a long time now.
