Keeping in view this government is doing every possible effort to provide youth with different opportunities such as E-Rozgaar Program. The E-Rozgaar program provides the best platform to students to polish their skills and strengthen the national economy.

Dr Umer Saif, Chairman PITB and Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab enlightened E-Rozgaar Program while inaugurating joint project of PITB and YASAT’s “Chief Minister’s e-Rozgaar Program”. The ceremony was held at at COMSATS Institute of Informational Technology, Sahiwal. Dr. Umar Saif revealed that 60% of Pakistan’s youth is unemployed due to insufficient jobs in market. Every year 250,000 graduated pass out against 50,000 job opportunities.

E-Rozgaar centers are established to highlight technological entrepreneurship to increase the present income through freelancing. In this way students can create self generated jobs by working at home by generating $ one billion per annum figure.

At the e-Rozgaar launch ceremony, Dr Umar Saif said:

“You are an asset to this country, all you have to do is believe in yourself and take this opportunity to monetize your skills.”

40 CM E-Rozgaar centers are established to provide free training to the candidates selected via transparent process. PITB has successfully launched more than 15 centers in Punjab . These centers are operative and classes are in process by Master Trainers.

PITB received 33195 applications from young graduates through online registration. Selected candidates will be given three months training.

Among these centers five centers are dedicated for female candidates. The initiative of earning through internet and opting for freelancing as a profession is new in smaller cities of Punjab. Keeping in view this Government has taken initiative to groom graduates from different backgrounds. Young graduate will be able to earn Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month via work from home.
