Exynos 2600 Leak Reveals CPU Design, Clock Speeds, and New AMD-Powered GPU

New details about Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2600 chipset have surfaced through a well-known industry tipster, offering an early look at what could be the company’s most advanced mobile processor to date. Although Samsung has only released a brief teaser of Exynos 2600 without technical specifications, the leaked information provides insight into the CPU design, clock speeds, manufacturing process, and a new GPU developed in collaboration with AMD.

The Exynos 2600 will be Samsung’s first chipset using its 2nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) process. This advanced manufacturing technology will improve performance while reducing power consumption, making it a significant step forward compared to earlier generations. As a result, the chipset will deliver strong efficiency alongside higher processing power.

Exynos 2600 Leak Reveals CPU Design, Clock Speeds, and New AMD-Powered GPU

According to the leaked details, the Exynos 2600 will feature a 10-core CPU setup. This configuration will follow a “1 + 3 + 6” structure. The single prime core will handle the most demanding tasks, while three performance cores will manage heavier workloads, and six efficiency cores will focus on power-saving operations. This design aims to balance speed and battery life, especially during multitasking.

In terms of clock speeds, the most powerful core will operate at around 3.8GHz. Earlier claims suggested a slightly higher frequency, but later discussion indicates that 3.8GHz is likely the upper limit due to power and thermal constraints of the 2nm process. The three performance cores will run at approximately 3.25GHz, while the six efficiency cores may operate at around 2.75GHz. This combination should give the Exynos 2600 strong multi-core performance, which is becoming increasingly important for modern applications.

One of the most interesting aspects of the leak is the mention of a new GPU developed with AMD, reportedly called “JUNO.” This GPU clocked at close to 985MHz and will support modern graphics standards such as OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 3.0, and Vulkan 1.3. These features suggest improved graphics performance, better gaming experiences, and enhanced support for advanced visual applications.

Previously, Samsung was expected to pair the Exynos 2600 with its Xclipse 960 GPU, which was also developed with AMD’s technology. The appearance of the JUNO name has raised questions about whether it is a new branding, a revised design, or an entirely different GPU. At this stage, there is no official confirmation, and the information remains based on leaks.

Despite the uncertainty, expectations are high for the Exynos 2600. With a powerful CPU layout, advanced manufacturing process, and a next-generation GPU, the chipset could help Samsung regain ground in the competitive mobile processor market. Reports suggest that the official launch may take place as early as late January, which means clearer details may soon emerge.

Samsung did not reveal any formal information about the chipset. However, if the leaked information proves accurate, the Exynos 2600 could represent a major leap forward in performance and efficiency for future Samsung devices.
