Facebook, Amazon & Microsoft to Mentor Pakistani Entrepreneurs at Momentum Pakistan 2018

Tech giants such as Amazon, Facebook, IBM and Microsoft will support Pakistani Entrepreneurs and startups at Momentum Pakistan 2018. Momentum Pakistan is a grand event which will be held in Karachi from 19-20th February, 2018. Facebook, Amazon & Microsoft to Mentor Pakistani Entrepreneurs at Momentum Pakistan 2018.

Ami Jafari, the person handling the event revealed that theme of 2018 edition of Momentum Pakistan to be “How to boost you startup”.

While telling the details regarding event he told that different aspect related to business and startups will be discussed.

He further added that:

“How to start a business without money has long been a problem for entrepreneurs in this part of the world, whereas in other countries, companies help innovative startups with resources and tools,”

Many international companies pick up talent from Pakistan however most of the Pakistani talent has remained undetected due to less opportunities provided to youth. Pakistan youth need proper mentor, exposure and platform to polish their skills.

Momentum Pakistan is a two days event which will comprise of different workshops, one to one sessions with successful startups. National and international speakers from different industries will shed light of entrepreneurship.

Representatives of Facebook, Amazon, IBM, and Microsoft will also attend the event. Facebook team will share insights about FbStart program that will help startups to build their business. Amazon has planned to provide data center facilities to startups.

Amazon will offer free cloud service to selected entrepreneurs besides conducting a series of hackathons with developers and workshops with startups.
