Almost every app is working to introduce the dark mode or we can say that dark mode is in the trend. Facebook is also reportedly testing a dark mode for its messenger app. Both iOS and Android users will be able to access the Facebook dark mode within the app.

Reddit has shared the hidden way to enable Dark Mode in the Facebook Messenger app. If you want to enable it then there you don’t have to visit any setting. The method is very easy. You have to send someone or yourself a crescent moon emoji. Once you send it, you will see several moon emoji will rain down over your conversation screen, and you will get a prompt to activate the mode in settings. Then visit your profile page in the app, and it will give you an option to turn on the mode.

Last year, Messenger’s dark mode was made available to selected users in some countries as part of the feature’s early testing phase but now it will be available to everyone who has the latest version of the app installed on their devices. If you didn’t get this latest feature then don’t get upset. As the company has started the rolling out the feature and it might take some time to hit your device.
