CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg announced yesterday that Facebook Dating service is about to be launch soon. Right now we don’t know much about it. The dating service will be included in Facebook’s official app and users will be able to unlock some groups and events to see their perfect matches.

While telling about the Facebook Dating Service, the company said that for getting the best match you have to be extra active.

 “Just like in real life, the more active you are in the communities around you, the more opportunities you’ll have to meet awesome people.”

It is predicted that this Facebook Dating service will be very successful and will have tough competition to Tinder which is also a dating app for the young lot. Tinder fell more than 18 percent so it means now Facebook has enough room for itself.

In order to keep the two version of Facebook separate, Dating Profile will only use your first name and the facebook friends will not appear as your perfect matches. Facebook Dating service will have a separate inbox that will not allow you to send pictures. With Dating App, you can only send text-based messages while chatting for the very first time. This is a very good precautionary measure taken by Facebook.

Zuckerberg also said that this dating service will be best for those companies which specialize in connecting people online. This dating service will increase the number of time people spend on facebook which in turn will bring more users.
