Another day, and yet a new shocking revelation in the tech world. All the tech journalist will agree with me that whenever a new day starts, we already know that there would be some new malicious information regarding the Facebook app. It seems like Facebook loves to ditch people and remain in the news. This time Facebook for iPhone users are affected.
Facebook for iPhone Users Come across Another Security Lapse
Every new security lapse from facebook is more significant than the previous one and yet see we do not stop using the app. Have we become a slave of it? So this time, let me tell you that facebook is not fair with you. If you are an iPhone user, you are being spied 24.7 through the camera of your own device.
Have we become a Slave of Facebook?
So if you are scrolling through the Facebook news feed, you should pay attention to camera as Facebook used it without your knowledge. This issue has affected iPhone users having iOS 13.2.2, so if you are an Android user or you are having iPhone with old OS, you are saved.
Found a @facebook #security & #privacy issue. When the app is open it actively uses the camera. I found a bug in the app that lets you see the camera open behind your feed. Note that I had the camera pointed at the carpet. pic.twitter.com/B8b9oE1nbl

According to tech critics, it seems like a bug which will be addressed by the social media giant. Users having iPhone powered by iOS 13.2.2 have a slightly different interface having a camera feed on the left side of the right screen when you open a picture in the app and swipe it down.
For now, until Facebook addresses the issue, you need to disable camera permission that will stop facebook from accessing the camera.
