Facebook has added new feature called GIF-supported poll feature. It allows users to post votable questions as a status. This new feature can be run both on iOS and Android. In a response you can also add GIFs and photos instead of plain texts.
Here is how to use GIF-supported poll feature:
- Hit compose post
- click on the “what’s on your mind” section
- Below the text box there will be a button of “Poll” and other options too
- Now you will be able to type your question in the text box along with two options of answers
Your responses are limited to 25 characters but there is no limit to how long your question can be.
How to add GIF or Photos:
Here is how to add GIFs or Photos as your answer. Simply hit on camera or GIF icon for responses in the line option. you can also add the duration that for how long you want your poll to be open. Options are available for one day, one week, custom or never.
It seems that Facebook has got inspiration from Instagram, which added polling stickers to its stories feature one month back. Facebook enjoys experimenting and adding new features time to time. Keeping in mind that users shouldn’t get bored of the old feature, Facebook continuously adding new features. This is one of the reasons that Facebook users are multiplying with passage of time.
