Facebook Launched Messenger Lite in US, Canada and UK

Facebook released Lite version an year ago. However Lite version of its messenger App is now available for users in several countries such as U.S. and UK.  Facebook Launched Messenger Lite in US, Canada and UK.

Facebook messenger Android App was mainly available in almost 100 developing markets. The recent report revealed that it is now broadly available in  countries where it was not available before such as Singapore.

Messenger Lite perfroms in the same as as the particular regular messenger performs. Lite messenger has one difference to the regular messenger that it has no Snapchat like messenger day function or games. However this Messenger Lite will give better, faster and calm experience.

Lite app is always targeted for users in developing countries who can only afford mid-range to entry level Android devices. Facebook has no iOS version for this messengers and it has not planed to launch it any soon. For Facebook’s main app, it launched it Lite version in 2015. According to analytical report the lite version of Facebook has reached subscriber base of 200 million in such short time.

As many people have no access to 3G and 4G network coverage, this slimmed down app is essential for a company to broaden its market. The Lite apps are smaller than 10MB to download and require less system resources.
