Facebook Messenger Adds AR Games Feature in Video Chats
Facebook has stole another one feature of Snapchat. Yes, again it has copied augmented reality games feature of Snapchat to Messenger video chats. Now users can play two AR games with their friends during a video call in Facebook Messenger.
Snapchat has announced Snappables in April this year, and facebook messenger’s new feature is similar to Snappables.
Now Enjoy AR Games Feature in Video Chats of Facebook Messenger
These AR Games are now available in Facebook Messenger app for all users. To avail this new feature, Users need to update to the latest version of Messenger, get onto a video call, and then tap the star button on the screen. Now they can select one of the AR games. The person on the other side of the video call will get a notification of the game that you have started. After that both the users can start to play the game.
Facebook said that up to six people can play these multiplayer video chat AR games simultaneously.
Facebook has launched two AR games ‘Don’t Smile’ and ‘Asteroid Attack’. In ‘Don’t Smile’ the users will compete with each other that who can hold a serious face the longest, and in ‘Asteroid Attack’ the users will play like who can better navigate their spaceship.
Facebook planning to add more games in the future, and currently, it is working on a ‘Beach Ball’, a game where users can pass a beach ball back and forth. Moreover the company is also working on ‘Kitten Kraze’ – a matching cat game.
