Facebook has officially announced its one more success regarding its Messenger app. Facebook Messenger Now Has 1 billion Active Users. In 2014, the Messenger app had only 200 million users. But, the Messenger app has grown more rapidly and gain more popularity when Facebook makes it mandatory to install Messenger app with the Facebook mobile app for all users. This year, in April, Facebook Messenger had 900 million users. But Now 1 billion users use facebook messenger every month.

Facebook thanked its users for using Messenger via a message on Facebook Newsroom.

“People use Messenger to connect with the people and businesses they care most about. Today we are announcing that more than 1 billion people now use Facebook Messenger every month, making Messenger one of only a handful of apps worldwide that touch so many lives.

We’re grateful for all the people who are sending billions of messages every day and we hope to send 1 billion thank yous in the form of a new floating balloon gift that everyone can use to celebrate.
