Facebook on test basis is going to launch its ads into the messenger application from today. These card-style ads will include image thumbnails along with some text and also a link. They will appear below the recent conversations in the messenger.

This feature is same as the “Facebook Pages”

The link will take the users to websites of companies and product details. This feature is same as the “Facebook Pages” as they also direct the users to the official websites of the company.

“Businesses have long been telling us that they are very excited about the potential of the Messenger platform to reach their customers and help them to drive sales, build brand awareness and increase customer satisfaction.”

Said Facebook Product Manager Eddie Zhang.

For sure this feature will further help the businesses and companies by letting them with more space for advertising.

Now a days, social media platforms are giving simultaneously entertainment, work and shopping facility to its users. Facebook Messenger Ads is one another such step by the largest social media platform, Facebook.  The company said that within coming weeks it will roll out this feature for all.
