Facebook Phones May Officially Launch in Mid 2013

Back a few months ago, the rumors of another Facebook branded smartphone hit the inter-webs again. Rumours that a HTC-Facebook phone is under the works will not just die, despite Mark Zuckerberg officially denying such plans. The latest round of rumors suggests the HTC is developing the device with a codename of Opera UL.

• The report lists the former Apple employees as a viable reason for the release of the Facebook branded device. So we can say that It looks like all those rumors claiming Facebook plans to release its own phone were pretty accurate to a point.
• It is the phone is powered by a 1.4GHz (probably dual-core) Krait processor with Adreno 305 graphics and sports an HD display. It’s currently running on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
