The dumbest feature of Facebook, Facebook Stories are Coming to Desktop beside News Feed. Many people including me, don’t like this feature, rather find it irritating. However people like it or not, the social media giant has decided to expand this feature to desktop.

According to Facebook spokesperson the version of stories fro desktop will be launched soon with no expected date yet. Facebook is testing this feature on a small segment of users around the world. It plans to launch is as soon as possible globally.

The desktop version of Facebook stories will let people view friend stories from their Browsers. The stories feature of Instagram and WhatsApp was a huge hit however stories on Facebook App was flop idea at the very first place. Even this feature is ignored in Facebook App. Don’t understand that why Facebook wants to roll out this story feature on Desktop too.

May by Social media giant Facebook is hoping that desktop expansion will increase their subscriber base. It seems that Facebook wants to boost engagement by putting it in front of new set of users who might not have noticed it before.

The story feature will be visible right after news feed. However it will not make any difference i guess.
