In order to share music from Spotify, you have to tap “share,” and then select the preferred platform. Now you will get to see on Facebook an option, select it and share it with your story or News Feed.

The feature is designed largely with artists and their teams in mind, as it gives them another way to promote their new music across Facebook’s social network. Musicians and their managers often today use the Spotify app’s sharing feature to post their content across social media, including to Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, and elsewhere.

The music sharing feature is beneficial for Facebook stories as it will keep engaging the story’s viewers. Furthermore, via this new feature, Spotify will get back the traffic which it has lost.

You can customize your Story and post it to your profile. Viewers will be able to hear the 15-second song clip. From there, they can also tap to go to Spotify to hear more music.
