“Stories” is the most popular feature of Snapchat copied by Facebook and gained popularity on Instagram as well. Facebook has introduced this feature to its own companies like Instagram and WhatsApp and also in its own app. But this feature does not gain much popularity as compare to Instagram. Instagram and Whatsapp each have 250 million daily Stories users. Now to boost up its Stories user, Facebook Introduces Stories to Brand Pages.
Facebook Introduces Stories to Brand Pages
Facebook product manager Amy Sun said
“We’ve been listening to our community and working to make it fast, fun and easy for people and Pages to create Stories on Facebook. Over the coming month, Pages will be able to create Stories to share with the people who follow them.”
People will see Facebook Stories from Pages they follow or Like in the Stories section on mobile and desktop. Page admins will see a “Create Story” button on the mobile app when viewing their Pages. This content won’t show up on the News Feed unless posted there as well, and will disappear in 24 hours like all Stories.
Facebook will be rolling out the feature over the next month on iPhones and Android phones.
