Facebook Witnessed 22 million Interactions During Pak-India T20 World Cup Matches
The social media tech giant Facebook revealed that throughout the 19th March T20 world cup matches between India and Pakistan’s men’s and women’s teams, it saw 22 million interactions with 8.2 million exclusive Facebook users showing support for their own teams.

The most cited cricketers included India’s Virat Kohli and Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi on the social networking platform and the most mentioned players from the women’s side were India’s Mithali Raj and Pakistan’s Sana Mir.
More than 10 celebrities added Facebook’s profile frame feature to their profile pictures comprising Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan.
Personalities who escalated action with their selfies at the game and around the game comprised Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan.
Cricketers from Pakistan who updated their profile pictures and posted messages associated to matches included Mariana Iqbal, Shan Masood, and Maya Ali.
Facebook informed that Facebook Live was used for live streaming of match related information presenting cricketers like MS Dhoni and Shoaib Malik.
