Facebook keep on adding new features to remain in limelight. With the passage of time Facebook is getting better and more user friendly for its users. California based company has added a news feature that lets you temporarily snooze a friends posts to appear in your news feed. Facebook’s Snooze Button Temporarily Mute People in Your News Feed.

This is a perfect solution to avoid unwanted and stupid posts from people instead of permanently following that person. You can choose to mute the for 24 hours, an entire week or 30 days.

Facebook hasn’t provided any information about when the test began or how widespread it is. And of course, there’s no guarantee that it will be permanently incorporated into the site.

How to Snooze a person:

To access snooze click on the three dots on the right of the name of friend or group you wan to mute. A pop up menu will appear. This will show an option Un Follow or snooze.

Tough this feature has not appeared on my Facebook so it is possible the the tech giant has not rolled it globally. May be they are testing this feature on few people.

To me this is a perfect and must adopted feature to temporarily block someone instead of completely unfollowing or blocking them.
