FCC Certification Reveals Two Nokia Phones with 18:9 Displays

FCC has given approval to the two upcoming Nokia smartphones and it seems that the HMD Global is going to announce the two Nokia phones with 18:9 displays, just like in Nokia 7 Plus. FCC documents detailed that the unannounced handsets have the model code number TA-1057 and TA-1063.

When scrutinized the details in the FCC documents that shows that these two Nokia phones with 18:9 displays will carry a 2,900mAh battery along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and an NFC support for the TA-1057 and TA-163 phones.

Further details show that the TA-1057 model will have the single SIM slot while the TA-1063 will have the dual-SIM version. However, we don’t know the details in depth so we can’t say right now that the two Nokia phones with 18:9 displays will be entry-level ones, mid-range, or the more expensive flagships. Officially HMD Global didn’t say yet about the handsets’ displays that it will be made up of an IPS LCD panel or an OLED panel, but reports say that the devices may be come with mid-range bracket.

However, HMD Global only announced the Nokia X6 this week and didn’t utter any word about these two devices having model numbers TA-1057 and TA-1063. It is reported that the two Nokia phones with 18:9 displays may come with any of the chipsets in the Snapdragon 600 series.
