First 5G Chipset Launched by Qualcomm

We have been hearing about 5G from a year, and finally, after a huge wait, it is here. With the 5G penetration in the technology market, 4G will be gradually fade out. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 855 processor at its third annual Tech Summit in Maui this morning. However, no more details have been provided y the company about the chip yet. First 5G Chipset is Snapdragon  855.

Qualcomm’s First 5G Chipset is Here

It is to be expected that this First 5G Chipset will be faster and better than the last chip. Qualcomm will also offer the 855 with and without 5G. Qualcomm has heavily invested in 5G. In practical sense  855 is the world’s first 5G-ready chipset.  This chipset will be the first one to come in 5G phones. The US will be the first country, where the first 5G phone will be launched. 

5G is the proposed next telecommunications standards beyond the current 4G/IMT-Advanced standards. the technology is operating in the millimetre wave bands and 5G planning aims at a higher capacity than current 4G. In the near future, 5G will Impact every Industry in the best possible way. World’s biggest mobile operators are striving to launch 5G technology as soon as possible. While mobile manufacturing companies are also making 5G handsets and everyone is waiting to buy the first 5G Phone as soon as possible.

According to Qualcomm, there are now 20 operators and 18 OEMs committed to Qualcomm’s vision of 5G. 5G capabilities will open up more business opportunities.
