First Dual SIM iPhone Could be Right Around the Corner
Different rumours were circulating on social media regarding the launch of Dual SIM iPhone. These rumours are finally confirmed by Apple’s own iOS 12, who is backing up the reports. New iPhone X Plus is expected to include a 6.5-inch OLED display and dual SIM support in specific regions.
Latest iOS 12 Beta Hints At Dual SIM iPhone
This news was spotted by 9to5Mac who reported that iOS 12 beta recently revealed include references to dual SIM support. The operating system has mentioned second physical SIM tray. It clearly shows that Dual SIM iPhone is soon to come. Now iPhone Dual SIM tray will not be restricted to a single SIM tray and eSIM support.
This is not the first time that Apple’s own software betas have revealed the detail of the iPhone accidentally. Last year’s iOS 11 beta tipped users off to the notched display Apple had planned for what eventually became the iPhone X; it also revealed the FaceID unlocking feature for that phone.
Apple will hold its annual iPhone event in September where the company will launch three new iPhones.. A new “iPhone X Plus” is rumoured to include a 6.5-inch OLED display, alongside a 6.1-inch LCD model and a refresh to the 5.8-inch iPhone X.
