Out of many other reforms taken by Pakistani government one is First Ever Digital Urdu Dictionary to be Launched Soon. This Initiative will promote national language and our love for it will keep on rising.
First Ever Digital Urdu Dictionary to be Launched Soon
Irfan Siddiqui, Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan on National History and Chairman of Quaid-i-Azam Mazar Management Board revealed that the website will officially be launched on October 15, 2017.
The best news is that Government is not just digitizing Urdu dictionary but around 5000 books will also be digitized. In a meeting held at Urdu dictionary board that was supervised by Mr. Siddiqui. In the meeting he announced that to encourage our national language Urdu, Pakistani government is introducing Digital Urdu Dictionary.
Mr. Siddiqui told that the website will have 22,000 pages with 264,000 words. He also revealed that the digital Urdu dictionary will allow users to hear the word too so that they won’t have any difficulty in pronouncing the words.
This initiative will help youngsters to get know how of their national languages. Now a days many students are so poor in Urdu that this initiative should be taken at any cost and a part from this several other reforms should be taken to promote Urdu at national level.
